Seat Brackets

I wanted to see what it feels like to sit in the car so I installed the seat brackets. I'm likely going to upgrade to Tillet carbon fiber T5s in the future, but these will work for now. Comments at bottom of each picture.

The first step was to make a template of the recessed pocket in which the bolts go. The hacked up paper one was transferred to cardboard.

The seats have an awkward shape... this position made them stable to work on

Cardboard template in the pocket... all holes guaranteed to be in same place, but that doesn't mean that they're correct;-)

After drilling a pilot hole, I used a step bit. It splinters the fiberglass less than a twist drill, it but takes longer and makes a bigger mess
